THE VINCENTIAN VOCATION
The vocation of the Society's members, who are called Vincentians, is to follow Christ through service to those in need and so bear witness to His compassionate and liberating love.  Members show their commitment through persons-to-person contact.  Vincentians serve in hope.

VINCENTIAN FORMATION
The emphasis in the Society of St. Vincent de Paul on formation and education stems from the grassroots membership of the Society's response to God's call of grace and articulates the desire of Vincentians throughout the United States to engage in a process of formation, eduation and training in order to advance in holiness of life with the hope to better serve those who are in need.

A major responsibiity of the Society's members involves lifelong growth in many areas.  This includes knowledge of the charisms of our Vincentian spirituality and  its integration into a member's life and ministry. 
To be an effective member of the Society, more than a kind and loving heart is needed to serve those in need.

 VINCENTIAN LEADERSHIP

Spiritual Advisors Orientation 

The primary purpose of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul
is to increase the holiness of its members,
and so from it's foundation the Society has affirmed the importance of the role
of Spiritual Advisor as being essential to its life and mission.  
Spiritual Advisors must be active and trained. 

After completion of this training the Spiritual Advisor
will be registered with the National Council of the United States

 OZANAM ORIENTATION

Required formation for all Vincentians

The purpose of Ozanam Orientation is twofold.  First, it is to introduce to new members "who we are and what we are all about."  Second, it is to re-aquaint existing members with our "spirituality and heritage."

Prospective Members
and Interested Parties
You do not have to be Catholic to attend
